Rob began his journey with Smart Solutions as Development Director in 2016, before quickly moving into the role of Managing Director. As Managing Director he oversaw all the recruitment branches, and numerous key sectors including onsite, driving, permanent recruitment, construction, industrial and facilities management. Rob was also instrumental in Smart’s expansion into the European market and opened the EU Division with an office in Poland, followed by growth across Europe. He became the Chief Executive Officer of Smart Solutions in March 2019 to further grow and develop our business in all areas.

Rob plays a significant role in the evolution of the business model and development of the company, he has excelled in his career within the recruitment industry and continues to do so.In the year 2023, Rob successfully acquired Bristol based Heat Recruitment. Fast forward to 2024, he has initiated the launch of the Bridgestone Group. Both these prosperous businesses are now operating under the umbrella of the BGI Group.
